We recently engaged this team for our pest control needs. Adam provided an extensive overview of his services and quoted a vastly more competitive rate. After two service calls we're not only impressed by Adam's expertise but the level of service is absolutely astonishing (we're from New York and that's not easily done). They deserve 10 stars and should be everyone's choice for pest care.

Commercial Pest Control in Palmetto, FL
Palmetto Exterminator provides commercial pest control for local businesses. We know the building codes, the HOA requirements, and the seasonal patterns specific to this area. One dedicated team, consistent service, and compliance-ready documentation.
Commercial properties cannot wait for a pest problem to resolve itself. Palmetto Exterminator provides priority-response extermination for restaurants, offices, warehouses, and retail — fast treatment, documented service records, and compliance-ready reporting.
Palmetto’s commercial properties sit at the intersection of a few things that make pest control more demanding than it looks. The US-41 commercial strip draws heavy vehicle traffic and generates food waste from restaurants and convenience stores. The Riviera Dunes marina area mixes hospitality with waterfront conditions that attract roaches, ants, and rodents. And the agricultural land surrounding the city means food-processing and packing operations deal with stored product pests that most commercial pest companies don’t have experience treating. Palmetto Exterminator handles all of it with documented IPM programs built for each property.
US-41 Commercial Strip
The Tamiami Trail through Palmetto is lined with restaurants, gas stations, convenience stores, auto shops, and small retail plazas. These businesses face constant pest pressure from the food waste, grease, and organic matter that accumulates along a busy commercial corridor. Roaches, ants, and flies are the primary concerns for food service operations. Rodents gravitate toward dumpster enclosures and the gaps in older commercial building foundations.
We service US-41 businesses on a schedule that fits their operating hours. Kitchen and food-prep treatments happen during closed hours. Exterior perimeter treatments and bait station maintenance happen during regular service visits. Every visit gets documented with a digital report and an updated pest sighting log that stays on site for health inspectors.
Riviera Dunes Marina and Hospitality
The Riviera Dunes area brings together a marina, restaurants, and hospitality properties in a waterfront setting. The proximity to the Manatee River creates moisture conditions that attract palmetto bugs, American cockroaches, and seasonal mosquito pressure in outdoor dining areas. Guest-facing hospitality businesses here can’t tolerate pest sightings. A roach on a restaurant patio or in a hotel hallway becomes a review before the manager even knows about it.
We work with Riviera Dunes hospitality properties on programs that emphasize prevention over reaction. Exterior perimeter treatments, drain treatments, and regular monitoring keep pest populations down so they never reach the level where guests notice.
Food Processing and Agricultural Operations
Palmetto’s proximity to Manatee County’s agricultural corridor means there are packing houses, processing facilities, and distribution operations in and around the city that deal with stored product pests like Indian meal moths, sawtoothed grain beetles, and flour beetles. These pests contaminate product, trigger audit findings, and can shut down a production line if they’re not managed proactively.
Our commercial IPM programs for food processing facilities include monitoring stations, pheromone traps for stored product insects, sanitation assessments, and detailed documentation that satisfies third-party auditors and regulatory inspectors. We’re familiar with the standards these facilities operate under and build the program to match.
Multi-Family Rental Properties
Palmetto has a significant inventory of apartment complexes, duplexes, and manufactured-home communities that need commercial-grade pest management. Property managers dealing with tenant complaints about roaches, ants, or bed bugs need a partner who can treat individual units, inspect adjacent units, and provide documentation for tenant communication.
We coordinate with Palmetto property managers on unit-by-unit treatment schedules, common area maintenance, and exterior perimeter programs. When a tenant reports a pest issue, we respond quickly so the complaint doesn’t escalate into a vacancy.

Questions We Hear Every Day
Quick answers from our SWFL pest pros.
I don't see any pests — do I still need pest control?
Fair question. In Southwest Florida, by the time you spot a roach in the kitchen or ghost ants on the counter, there's usually a colony somewhere you can't see. Our humidity, rainy season, and slab-on-grade homes keep pests active all 12 months.
What a quarterly visit does:
- Renews the exterior treatment before sun and rain wear it down
- Catches entry points — weep holes, soffit gaps, slab cracks — before anything moves in
- Covers you between visits: on a recurring plan, if covered pests show up, we come back free
If you're pest-free right now, that's the easiest time to start. We're maintaining, not chasing.
Why are ongoing treatments necessary instead of just an initial one?
Because Florida has no off-season. Warm, wet weather keeps ants, roaches, and spiders active year-round, and exterior treatments wear down in the sun and rain. Recurring visits renew that protection, catch new entry points, and adjust to what's active each season — ghost ants in the rainy months, rodents moving indoors in the cooler ones. The first service knocks the population down. Recurring visits keep it down.
Is it necessary for me to be at home during pest and lawn services?
For your first pest control visit, yes. We walk the property with you, look at problem spots, and treat inside. After that, most pest visits are exterior, so you don't need to be home; if a visit includes interior work, we'll set a time with you. Lawn service happens outdoors, so you don't need to be home for any lawn visit. Either way, you get a digital service report with photos when we're done.
Why hire a professional when I can do it myself?
You can handle a lot yourself: seal gaps, fix leaks, pull mulch back from the foundation. A pro earns the fee in the parts that are easy to get wrong. That means identifying the exact species (ghost ants and fire ants need opposite approaches), choosing products that won't scatter a colony, and getting into attics and soffits. On a recurring plan, we also come back free if pests return. Store-bought repellent sprays often push ants and roaches deeper into the walls instead of ending the problem.
What are these tiny bugs in my pantry?
Usually one of three: Indian meal moths (small moths, plus webbing in grain or cereal), rice weevils (tiny beetles with a snout, in rice and pasta), or flour beetles (small reddish-brown beetles in flour and baking mixes). Throw out infested food, vacuum the shelves, and move dry goods into sealed containers. If they keep coming back after a thorough clean-out, call us and we'll track down the source.
Why do you treat both the inside and outside of my home?
The first visit covers both: we treat what's active indoors and set up protection outside. After that, recurring visits focus on the exterior — the perimeter, eaves, and entry points — because that's where most Florida pests come from. If you need an inside treatment between visits, we'll come back for that too, free on a recurring plan.
What happens if I'm still seeing pests after my first treatment?
That's normal for the first week or two. The treatment disturbs hidden nests and flushes pests into the open before it takes full effect, so you may see more before you see fewer. If activity hasn't dropped after about two weeks, call us. On a recurring plan, the re-treat is free.
